Lucy's favorites: Pretending like she is a Mommy (rocking her babies, putting them down for naps, swaddling and feeding them), singing any and every song she hears,  and going down slides and climbing all over playground equipment.

Adam's favorites: Playing with balls, pulling up on all furniture, eating meat, race crawling down the hallway, and getting in to everything.

The kids give me and Pete so much joy every day, and also vexation as we learn how to parent a two-year-old. We ask the Lord for wisdom all the time and thank Him for his wonderful grace!

Adam is 9 weeks old!

He weighs over 11 pounds and is just such a nice baby. He smiles a lot now and he's almost sleeping through the night... although I've been saying that I feel like he's on the verge for several weeks now. Last night and the night before he slept from about 11 pm to 4 am, then until 7:30ish. These past two nights were the first time he's only gotten up once to eat, instead of three or four times, So I'm happy.

What doesn't make me happy, is having a cold. Having a cold when you're the mom of young kids is just the worst. Oh well. It is almost better, and God is good.
